About
UCLU Art Society welcomes a wide range of members to look at, talk about and make art together. Whether you have never picked up a pencil except for sudoku, or been painting masterpieces since you were five, if you are interested in any of our activities we’d love to see you.
We offer weekly tutored life-drawing classes, fortnightly gallery visits, regular socials and a volunteering programme in local schools. All these events are very relaxed and a great way to complement your studies or to forget them!
We also have lots of exciting one-off events planned for the year ahead: external speakers, a big sculpture project in the first term (theme: destruction!), and our annual exhibition (a roaring success in the past) after February reading week, to which you can contribute as an artist, curator and/or spectator at the private view – always a really fun night!
So come along and join us in taking advantage of the amazing opportunity of being in London, one of the cultural hubs of the world!
